Making high quality beats isn't easy, especially for beginners. When I first started using studio equipment it was Sonar 4 and Dimension Pro. It took me a lot of time to learn the littlest bit and the learning curve was very steep. After spending hundreds of dollars on Dimension pro and Sonar I found out that I still didn't have as many tunes as I'd like, so I quickly started buying new tunes from my favorite websites only to find out that I had to find a way to make these instruments work with my equipment. I even wasted money on programs that were never compatible with my software, because I was a noob trying to become a hit producer.
The next lesson I learned was how to put a beat together. Sometimes I spent hours on a couple bar only to switch around the instruments and settings so many times that it became distorted.
